Endowment Fund Committee

 

Endowment Committee works closely with funds that are gifted through many means and sources, such as wills, life insurance, charitable gifts and annuities, and other trusts, transfers, and deposits.  Its sole purpose is to enhance the mission outreach, set apart from the general operation of the congregation. The committee meets quarterly or as needed.  Reports are given the church council quarterly. The funds are distributed by unanimous vote to areas such as community and synod outreach, missions of the ELCA local and worldwide, and capital improvements, debt reduction, or building programs of the church. All funds are presented as a recommendation for council approval. If you have an interest in investments, growth accounts, distributions and research of outreach opportunities and mission.  We encourage you to join us as you could be a great resource addition to the Committee.
